If you or a loved one is diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, it’s important to discuss how you’d like to be cared for at the end of life. These conversations can often feel like “giving up,” but we believe in just the opposite. The earlier our patients and their families can have open and honest conversations about their wishes, the greater the opportunity is to experience more peace at the end of life. Here are a few questions we like to ask our patients to ensure we’re honoring their life and they get the care they desire.
