Medical Staff & Team Members

Admissions Coordinator

I have worked at Hospice Promise since the doors first opened. Our team does an amazing job meeting the needs of our patients and their families. The care we provide warms my heart and makes me proud of where I work.

My husband and I are blessed with a beautiful baby boy, and we also have two dogs which keeps our home fun and busy.

Human Resource Coordinator

I have previously worked as a companion aide and as a nurses’ aide, and I have run my own pet care business. Here at Hospice Promise, I am able to play a part in helping people when they need it most. I also enjoy working with my sister Deborah - the owner of Hospice Promise.

My husband and I are the proud parents of our teenage son. We recently moved here from Buffalo, NY and WE LOVE ARIZONA.

RN Case Manager

I’ve seen firsthand what the lack of hospice support looks like in the small town I grew up in. I’m proud to be a part of offering these services to such a special population. Providing hospice care is incredibly rewarding since you form such close personal connections with patients and families.

In my personal life, I am a hockey mom to my very core - and a Blackhawks fan for life.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I started working for Hospice Promise as soon as they opened. I believe this is an amazing company that always puts their patients first, and I am proud to be an original member of the team. When I came to Hospice Promise I had many years of experience as a CAN, but I have found my home here.

I am originally from Chinle, Arizona and I am the proud parent of three children, two of whom have followed in my footsteps and earned their CNA's as well.

Volunteer Coordinator

I take pride working here at Hospice Promise and being a part of our wonderful team. I find enjoyment in helping others and providing our patients and their families with the utmost in compassionate care.

I was born and raised in Nebraska (GO HUSKERS) and I am the mother of two beautiful children.  We love spending our free time outdoors and we are always seeking adventure in everything we do.

RN - Case Manager

I have been a nurse for over 12 years, and I have had the opportunity to work in hospice for five of those years. I previously worked in a busy cardiopulmonary telemetry unit where I gained invaluable knowledge. But for me, hospice nursing is in my heart. I am so lucky to be part of this amazing team who truly understands the concept of teamwork and going above and beyond for patients - and for each other. In my personal life, I am happily married with a son and a daughter – and we also have and one fur baby.

As a family, we spend our free time with "Disney" and I enjoy crafting and baking.

MDiV - Chaplain

I have been a pastor for over 25 years because I love people and I want the very best for them. I have written two books, and I have great relationships with many of our community leaders. At Hospice Promise, every team member cares for our patients as they would for members of their own family. It is so rewarding to see how my coworkers love our patients and always do the best for them.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I am a spirited and compassionate CNA who has worked in many aspects of Nursing. However, working for Hospice Promise has rewarded me the best opportunity to apply my clinical skill set matched with my family-oriented personality to meet the needs of my patients and their families.

Gary Miller

BS - Transitional Coordinator

I have always been interested in the medical field and providing assistance to those in need of care. As part of the Hospice Promise team, I am proud to work for a nurse owned business with a focus on patient care.

When I’m not working, I enjoy family time, working-out at the gym , college sports, hunting and fishing.

MSW - Social Worker

I work with the entire Hospice Promise team to understand the needs and wishes of our patients and their families, and bring together the resources needed to increase our patients' quality of life, while fostering a positive environment during this difficult time.

I am a California native, but have made Arizona my home. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. We love hiking Camelback mountain, biking, camping and most outdoor activities.

Executive Assistant

I started working for Hospice Promise when it opened in 2013. I love the opportunity to support our team and also to interact with our patients. I make it a point to remember birthdays, holidays and special occasions with kind words, small treats and token gifts. Everyone is always so appreciative that it makes me thankful to be a part of those moments.

During my time off I love being with my family and my delightful pup, Lulu!

Over the years, I have had several roles in business development, sales and marketing. I joined Hospice Promise because I really believe in our mission, and I want to make a make a positive difference in the lives of our patients, their families and the community.

I am a proud mom of two wonderful boys and we love having adventures together throughout Arizona.

Walter Morris-250

LMSW - Social Worker

I previously worked at an inpatient adolescent trauma therapy facility. But in recent years, I lost both of my parents to illnesses, and both went through hospice care programs. I was so impressed by the care that they received as well as the support for our family, that I was drawn to a career in hospice care.

In my free time I enjoy hiking and reading.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I previously worked as a certified nursing assistant in skilled nursing facilities. What drew me to hospice care - and especially to Hospice Promise - is the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to my patients, and to be able to put their needs above everything else.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my children.
