Carol

BSN, Registered Nurse

I love everything about nursing - and I have been at it for over 40 years! I joined Hospice Promise because I appreciate the owner, her values, and her philosophy of patient care. In my free-time I like to take in God’s wonder – and catch-up on sleep!

Michael

RN / Case Manager

I have worked in the medical field since 1990. I started as a respiratory therapist and became a registered nurse in 2002. I have worked in the ICU, CVICU and Emergency Department. I was first exposed to hospice when my mother became ill and placed on hospice. After that experience, I felt a strong calling to help families in the way that my family was helped. The team approach at Hospice Promise is second to none. In my free time I enjoy working out, and spending time with my wife, family and dogs!

Joeanna

RN / Care Manager

I have passion to serve, I have spent the last 11 years in the military, always putting others before myself.  I have a wonderful supportive husband and three beautiful children. We love Arizona! I chose Hospice Promise because of the family atmosphere the company has. I don’t see patients, everyone is family especially during transitioning.

Erin

Registered Nurse

I have been a nurse since 2014, and recently got my RN in 2022. My previous jobs were all in long-term care and skilled facilities. I have always loved working with the older population, so joining Hospice Promise only made sense. In my free time I enjoy going on motorcycle rides with my boyfriend. I enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Dotti

Registered Nurse

I spent over 30 years working in critical care and psych care. I joined Hospice Promise with a strong desire to help provide comfort at end-of-life, and also allow patients to remain as alert as possible so they can be interactive with their family.

I love cats, dogs and people – and I have 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. I also drive a big truck!

Cynthia

Licensed Practical Nurse

My passion for Hospice started in Louisiana where I became an LPN and worked on the Telemetry floor. During my time there I worked with a variety of patients, hospice being some of them. One particular patient didn’t have any family to comfort her so my team and I did what we could to comfort and care for her. That was when I knew hospice was what I would do for the rest of my nursing career. In my free time I enjoy photography, poetry, hiking and traveling.

Nichole

Licensed Practical Nurse

I have been a nurse for 19 years and working in Hospice for about 16 years. Hospice is deeply rewarding to be the one helping facilitate closure between patients and their loved ones. I chose Hospice Promise because everyone on the team has a voice and plays an equal part in surrounding the patient and family with all aspects of care. Our team is incredibly special!

Nancy

Human Resource Coordinator

I have previously worked as a companion aide and as a nurses’ aide, and I have run my own pet care business. Here at Hospice Promise, I am able to play a part in helping people when they need it most. I also enjoy working with my sister Deborah - the owner of Hospice Promise.

My husband and I are the proud parents of our teenage son. We recently moved here from Buffalo, NY and WE LOVE ARIZONA.

Babs Hopkins

Babs

Volunteer Coordinator

My previous work experience was in non-profit mental health and substance abuse treatment. Years ago, my mom was in hospice. That experience gave me a profound appreciation of the importance of hospice philosophy and holistic approach to dying. I have been a hospice volunteer coordinator for over 12 years. This position allows me to connect with patients and their families. I recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, helping them help our folks through an uncharted part of their journey. Volunteers return purpose to the lives of the patients, meeting them without and agenda, not as a patient with a diagnosis, but with support and compassion.

I have a husky mix Frankie, a black cat Billie, and in the process of mastering the baking of sour dough bread.

Mikaela

BSW / Social Worker

I recently graduated in the spring of 2022 from NAU and could not imagine starting my career in social work at a greater place other than Hospice Promise. The staff at Hospice Promise welcomed me with open arms and I have learned a great deal about the social service side of end-of-life care. I truly believe everyone deserves to have their final days filled with dignity, compassion and care. I have been very passionate about serving the elderly community ever since interning at the center for service and volunteerism dedicated toward connecting seniors living in Flagstaff to AmeriCorps. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my rescue dog at the dog park and watching bad but addicting reality TV.

Kelsey

Admissions Coordinator

I have worked at Hospice Promise since the doors first opened. Our team does an amazing job meeting the needs of our patients and their families. The care we provide warms my heart and makes me proud of where I work.

My husband and I are blessed with a beautiful baby boy, and we also have two dogs which keeps our home fun and busy.

Chanel

Admissions Coordinator

I’m new to the healthcare industry, but I'm happy my first experience is with Hospice Promise. It feels like a family and I am rewarded every day knowing all our patients are happy and being well taken care of. In my free time I enjoy singing and dancing, as well as spending time with my fiancé and two puppies, Molly & Sally.

Jose

MDiV - Chaplain (Bilingual)

I have been a pastor for over 25 years because I love people and I want the very best for them. I have written two books, and I have great relationships with many of our community leaders. At Hospice Promise, every team member cares for our patients as they would for members of their own family. It is so rewarding to see how my coworkers love our patients and always do the best for them.

Clayton

Supply Clerk

I worked previously as the manager of convenience stores in Minnesota, so you see a lot of crazy things in that business. Since moving to Phoenix, I appreciate working at Hospice Promise in a family-oriented business.

In my free-time I enjoy driving on long trips and firing-up the grill for some burgers & BBQ.
