Special Projects Manager

I have worked at Hospice Promise since the doors first opened. Our team does an amazing job meeting the needs of our patients and their families. The care we provide warms my heart and makes me proud of where I work.

My husband and I are blessed with a beautiful baby boy, and we also have two dogs which keeps our home fun and busy.

Samantha Dietert

Transitional Coordinator

Since joining this amazing team, I have learned so much - and when my own grandmother needed hospice, I knew exactly who I wanted to care for her. This experience helped me understand what families go through when a loved one is in hospice care.

In my spare time I love being outdoors with my fiancé and our two wonderful children.

Amber Arrington

RN Case Manager

I’ve seen firsthand what the lack of hospice support looks like in the small town I grew up in. I’m proud to be a part of offering these services to such a special population. Providing hospice care is incredibly rewarding since you form such close personal connections with patients and families.

In my personal life, I am a hockey mom to my very core - and a Blackhawks fan for life.

Darryl Wilson

VA Representative

After growing up in a military family and serving in the Air Force myself for 20 years, my role at Hospice Promise is a perfect fit for me. I love serving other military families and I’m proud to be a part of this wonderful team.

My hobbies and interests are watching sports and spending time outdoors. I have one daughter and one grandson.

Patrick Hopphans

RN BSN Case Manager

I am a former Critical Care nurse, but I have found a true calling for Hospice nursing. Our team has a “patient first” mentality in which everyone is willing to assist in any possible way, and I take great pride in providing comfort and peace for patients and their families during one of the most trying times in their lives.

Our family is very close. My wife is an RN as well, and we have two boys, four dogs and a cat. We spend a lot of time involved in youth sports activities.

Sadie Jones

Volunteer Coordinator

I take pride working here at Hospice Promise and being a part of our wonderful team. I find enjoyment in helping others and providing our patients and their families with the utmost in compassionate care.

I was born and raised in Nebraska (GO HUSKERS) and I am the mother of two beautiful children.  We love spending our free time outdoors and we are always seeking adventure in everything we do.

Nancy Dowd

Community Relations

I have previously worked as a companion aide and as a nurses’ aide, and I have run my own pet care business. Here at Hospice Promise, I am able to play a part in helping people when they need it most. I also enjoy working with my sister Deborah - the owner of Hospice Promise.

My husband and I are the proud parents of our teenage son. We recently moved here from Buffalo, NY and WE LOVE ARIZONA.

Jose Gonzales

MDiV - Chaplain

I have been a pastor for over 25 years because I love people and I want the very best for them. I have written two books, and I have great relationships with many of our community leaders. At Hospice Promise, every team member cares for our patients as they would for members of their own family. It is so rewarding to see how my coworkers love our patients and always do the best for them.

Richard Fontana

Certified Nursing Assistant

I have worked in many aspects of Nursing, however the time since joining Hospice Promise has been the most rewarding and fulfilling. I appreciate being able to combine my clinical skills with my compassionate personality, and help patients and families when they need it most.

Tesha Hopphaus

RN BSN - Case Manager

I have a background in emergency and correctional nursing, and I believe every person deserves comfort, compassion, and respect. I aspire to provide the highest quality of care to my patients and their loved ones so that their families can focus on what truly matters - spending every precious moment together.

My husband and I have two boys who love playing football. We enjoy spending a lot of time together, playing sports, and enjoying our pets

Rozanna Rechio

MSW - Social Worker

I work with the entire Hospice Promise team to understand the needs and wishes of our patients and their families, and bring together the resources needed to increase our patients' quality of life, while fostering a positive environment during this difficult time.

I am a California native, but have made Arizona my home. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. We love hiking Camelback mountain, biking, camping and most outdoor activities.

Holly Jo Horning

Executive Assistant

I started working for Hospice Promise when it opened in 2013. I love the opportunity to support our team and also to interact with our patients. I make it a point to remember birthdays, holidays and special occasions with kind words, small treats and token gifts. Everyone is always so appreciative that it makes me thankful to be a part of those moments.

During my time off I love being with my family and my delightful pup, Lulu!

Certified Nursing Assistant

I have been a CNA for many years and I find the work rewarding and humbling. In hospice care, you see patients and family members during very difficult circumstances, but you also become inspired by those same people as they navigate those times with such dignity, courage and faith.

I am a proud mother of two wonderful boys.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I started working for Hospice Promise as soon as they opened. I believe this is an amazing company that always puts their patients first, and I am proud to be an original member of the team. When I came to Hospice Promise I had many years of experience as a CAN, but I have found my home here.

I am originally from Chinle, Arizona and I am the proud parent of three children, two of whom have followed in my footsteps and earned their CNA's as well.

LPN, Community Education Consultant

In my role as an LPN, I have found my passion in hospice education. I have lived and worked across the country and enjoy working with different families, cultures and religions as we provide palliative services.

In my spare time I enjoy movies, cooking, travelling and playing with my grandson
