Registered Nurse

I have been a nurse for over 20 years and so the fact that Hospice Promise is “nurse-owned” really means a lot to me - it tells you that patient care comes first and the emphasis is not on corporate medicine.

In my free time I like to chill-out, watch Netflix, and go for rides with my husband on our Harley.

Registered Nurse

I love everything about nursing - and I have been at it for over 40 years! I joined Hospice Promise because I appreciate the owner, her values, and her philosophy of patient care. In my free-time I like to take in God’s wonder – and catch-up on sleep!

Registered Nurse

I have spent over 20 years in the medical field working with women, infants, ortho and hospice. I joined Hospice Promise because of their philosophy of patient care - always putting their patients first. I have three dogs - so you could say I am a dog-lover.

I am also married with two children, and we love to travel as much as possible.

Brenda Reed-c

Registered Nurse

Prior to joining Hospice Promise, I worked as a nurse circulator in a Level 1 hospital operating room.

After losing my son, I gained an understanding of what families go through when a loved one dies. I joined Hospice Promise because, while I may not be able to change the ultimate outcome, I know I can make a big impact on the journey.

My husband and I love to spend free time out in the desert riding our four-wheelers.

Linda Mavrolas-c

BSN, Registered Nurse

I have been an RN since 2000. I am married and together we have raised five sons. We have two cats, two dogs and have been blessed with 12 grandchildren. I love God, family, all animals, good times with friends / coworkers, and the wisdom of older people.

I am a positive person, but when I have a “blue day,” I think about my late father’s words, “All gray clouds have a silver lining. But sometimes you have to dig a little deeper to find them.”

Registered Nurse

I spent over 30 years working in critical care and psych care.  I joined Hospice Promise with a strong desire to help provide comfort at end-of-life, and also allow patients to remain as alert as possible so they can be interactive with their family.

I love cats, dogs and people – and I have 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. I also drive a big truck!

Registered Nurse

Before joining Hospice Promise, I worked in a respiratory, renal PCU. I joined Hospice Promise because they are so patient focused and family oriented. In fact, I worked previously for Hospice Promise, and after leaving I really missed it - so I am thrilled to be back.

In my free time I love doing just about anything outdoors including hiking, camping, swimming and biking. I also love snuggling with anything that is fluffy!

Licensed Practical Nurse

I have worked for almost 20 years in skilled nursing and assisted living. I came to Hospice Promise because of their focus on compassionate care for patients and families.

My husband and I have three dogs, and we like to spend our free-time in the outdoors enjoying camping and time at the lake.

Ana Rogers-c

MSW / Social Worker

I am a recent graduate from NAU where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Social Work. I focused on this area of study because I am passionate about working with elderly and those who are terminally ill. Hospice Promise shares that same passion making them the best team for me to join.

In my free time I love dancing, hiking and going on adventures with my dog - especially to northern Arizona.

LMSW / Social Worker

Over the last several years I have worked with the City of Phoenix Early Head Start Program as a developmental specialist, in housing support for survivors of domestic violence, as a case manager for Severely Mentally Ill adults, and as a child and family therapist. My goal with Hospice Promise is to provide support for families, allowing them to spend more valued time with their loved ones.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and son as well as going on adventures on my bike in the Arizona desert.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I previously worked as a certified nursing assistant in skilled nursing facilities. What drew me to hospice care - and especially to Hospice Promise - is the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to my patients, and to be able to put their needs above everything else.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my children.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I have been involved in nursing my entire life. Prior to joining Hospice Promise, I spent 15 years as a stay-at-home Mom, raising my three wonderful children. And now I am excited to fulfill my professional passion of taking care of others.

I enjoy cooking, shopping and spending time with my children.

Certified Nursing Assistant

I have been a nursing assistant since 2016, and this is my first time working for a hospice. I am so grateful to have come across such an amazing company. Hospice Promise does an amazing job of taking care of patients when they need it most. And they also do a great job making sure everyone on the team feels at home.

In my free time I enjoy coffee dates with my girlfriends and movie nights with the family.

Barbara Wilson-c

Certified Nursing Assistant

I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 15 years, working both in hospital and hospice settings. I joined Hospice Promise because of their philosophy of patient care. We are all one family - helping other families during very difficult times.

During my time off, I love bowling and taking day-trips all around our beautiful state

Lori Suladie-c

Certified Nursing Assistant

I worked previously in post-acute & rehabilitation facilities. I am honored and very happy to be providing one-on-one patient care working with Hospice Promise because their number one priority is always the needs of our patients.

When I’m not working, I enjoy gardening, boating and spending time with my family.

Stephen Matson

Care Manager

I had over 10 years of experience in occupational healthcare and physical therapy before joining Hospice Promise. My mother needed hospice services, so I understand my role in providing services and support for the entire family at a time when they need it most.

I play slow-pitch softball three days a week and love watching my kids participate in sports.

Christa Lopez

Care Manager

I have worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years. I have a passion for helping others and that is why I joined the Hospice Promise team. They are compassionate and put the needs of our patients and their families first.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family camping, riding and traveling.

Volunteer Manager

I have worked in hospice program management for almost 20 years, and I love working with volunteers. I joined Hospice Promise because I really appreciated the family environment and the opportunity to grow the volunteer program.

In my free time, I focus on my family. We enjoy watching our boys play sports, and I like to spend as much time as I can with my two grandchildren.

Admissions Coordinator

I have worked at Hospice Promise since the doors first opened. Our team does an amazing job meeting the needs of our patients and their families. The care we provide warms my heart and makes me proud of where I work.

My husband and I are blessed with a beautiful baby boy, and we also have two dogs which keeps our home fun and busy.

Executive Assistant

I started working for Hospice Promise when it opened in 2013. I love the opportunity to support our team and also to interact with our patients. I make it a point to remember birthdays, holidays and special occasions with kind words, small treats and token gifts. Everyone is always so appreciative that it makes me thankful to be a part of those moments.

During my time off I love being with my family and my delightful pup, Lulu!

MDiV - Chaplain (Bilingual)

I have been a pastor for over 25 years because I love people and I want the very best for them. I have written two books, and I have great relationships with many of our community leaders. At Hospice Promise, every team member cares for our patients as they would for members of their own family. It is so rewarding to see how my coworkers love our patients and always do the best for them.

Environmental Engineer

I worked previously as the manager of convenience stores in Minnesota, so you see a lot of crazy things in that business. Since moving to Phoenix, I appreciate working at Hospice Promise in a family-oriented business.

In my free-time I enjoy driving on long trips and firing-up the grill for some burgers & BBQ.

Human Resource Coordinator

I have previously worked as a companion aide and as a nurses’ aide, and I have run my own pet care business. Here at Hospice Promise, I am able to play a part in helping people when they need it most. I also enjoy working with my sister Deborah - the owner of Hospice Promise.

My husband and I are the proud parents of our teenage son. We recently moved here from Buffalo, NY and WE LOVE ARIZONA.
