Thank You, Hospice Volunteers

We want to thank all our volunteers who selflessly contribute their time to make a difference in our patients’ lives. We sat down with Scott, our Volunteer Coordinator, to talk about the significance and impact of our volunteers’ work. Scott shares, “The importance of being a volunteer with Hospice Promise is immeasurable. A patient who receives volunteer services lives on average two and a half months longer than those who do not. These are good days that they can spend with their families doing things they enjoy.”

“Plus, the impact they will have on each other one cannot even begin to describe. After everything we have been through in the last few years, spending time with those who have come before and celebrating their lives has grown increasingly important. The knowledge, experience, and stories they have to tell are incredible!”
