Hospice Promise Team Spotlight: Mikaela, BSW / Social Worker

Meet Mikaela, BSW, one of our newest Social Workers! Mikaela recently graduated from NAU in the Spring of 2022. 🔦

“I could not imagine starting my career in social work at a greater place other than Hospice Promise. The staff at Hospice Promise welcomed me with open arms, and I have learned a great deal about the social service side of end-of-life care,” Mikaela shares.

Mikaela believes everyone deserves to have their final days filled with dignity, compassion, and care. She has been very passionate about serving the elderly community since interning at the Center for Service and Volunteerism, dedicated to connecting seniors living in Flagstaff to AmeriCorps.🤝

In her free time, Mikaela enjoys spending time with her rescue dog at the dog park and watching bad (but addicting) reality TV!🐕📺
