Hospice Care is Always a Patient’s Choice

Hospice Promise recognizes that all patients have a fundamental right to make decisions relating to their own medical treatment. Sometimes, a patient’s health will improve during Hospice, and their physician believes they will live beyond the six-month prognosis. Other times, a patient will decide to discontinue their services and give curative treatment another try. Regardless of the situation, Hospice care is always a patient’s choice.
